There are many types of pollution, such as air, environment and sea. That phenomenon is familiar to us. We’ve felt, seen and heard about that. Pollution is the result of harmful, useless materials into the environment. That materials we called pollutants. Pollutants damage the quality of water and air, which we breathe and drink. There are many solutions for escaping this problem, but anyway each of us don’t think about that. Furthermore we are polluting more, it’s the biggest problem of the people.
How can we escape from polluting? Each of us know, that there are many factories that are working 24/7 and damage the air so much. The first solution, for about I want to talk, is stopping the work of the factories around the world. But, anyway, that factories are bringing money to that country’s economy, and there is the second problem, cause if we stopped the working of factories, the economy of the world will be damaged. We see that several unnecessary problems arise from one problem. Humanity has thought a lot about this issue, but has not found a solution. There are many companies that deal with air, water and space cleaning, but it is not enough. The number of 1000-1500, in some cases more, people in the organization cannot change anything in a world of eight billion people, where everyone simply ignores this important issue.
After studying the statistics, I realized that our Armenia with it’s crowded cities is in such a bad condition. Air and environmental pollution of Yerevan city is significant. I must mention that, for example, in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and other developed and clean countries, the air pollution is not great at all. Industrial cities such as Beijing, Tokyo, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul and other cities are dirtier. The difference is that some are cities of developed countries with tourism and IT technologies, others are more focused on industry. But, here is the magic, we talked about industrial cities, and thanks to logic, we can say, that they are dirtier, than our city Yerevan, but it’s not like that. Look at the statistics!
As for Armenia, the situation is so bad, it needs to be corrected. The main reason for the pollution of our country is human and not only in our country. The whole world has become polluted and blurred thanks to human and his technology. I offer several solutions. Our school conducts classes, actions and events so that students think and care about the environment, but only our school is not enough on the scale of the entire republic. Such measures can be taken in other schools. I think that the most important problem is a person’s way of thinking. He thinks “okay, I’ll drop one, but then I won’t do it”. This is the problem. People should be clearly explained that the country is on the verge of destruction due to people, due to industry. Africa, for example, is the least developed continent in comparison to others and the most populous if considered as such. It is interesting that the air pollution of giant industrial cities is very low, but that of Yerevan, as a non-giant industrial center, is very high. Here comes the answer to the question that everything depends on the person, it is the person who decides and does. In our country, they throw garbage on the ground without thinking, and that’s why there are such statistics, and in Tokyo, for example, people think that it’s their home, their city, why should they pollute their country?
Perhaps you know that in the Pacific Ocean, between Asia and America, a huge garbage area has been created, the size of a continent. You can see the points on the third map. There are garbage islands, that were created by human. Here you can see what the situation is all over the world and this is not the end. Many African, European, Asian countries and cities are lost in garbage, this is the biggest problem. I suggest that we decide, start thinking about our country, about the health of our country. I believe it is true that humanity has evolved once again and instead of using fuel, people are already using solar energy and driving electric cars. This is very good progress and I think it would be right for the world to give up fuel at least a little. Fuel is what clouds the sky the most, our only source of natural air to breathe. The only person who can benefit the country is human. The only person who can change the world is a human, so we must understand that by blurring the territory, the region and the city, we shorten our lives. All those chemicals and gases, which are contained in products, leaflets, bottles, do not dissolve for years and remain on the ground for hundreds of years. Let’s save the world, our country, this is the most serious issue.
