The Internet has a very big role in our world, because everyone is focused on it. The Internet was the miracle of the 21st century that changed humanity’s ideas about the future. I have talked with my friends, parents several times on this topic and I have heard almost the same opinions. They answered that when they were young, it took hours to find and read some material. Why, because until they found the necessary material, until they read and wrote it down, a lot of time was wasted. And now, they open millions of pages and articles with only one touch. Open and read whatever you want.
The Internet is widely used in education. Many schools abroad and here use the Internet as an effective educational tool. And, it should be added that it is really so. Millions of colleges, universities, schools use computers. But, like all other miracles, this also has its advantages and disadvantages. There are many advantages, for example the time itself, which we do not waste pointlessly, but instead save. One of the advantages is the variety of information, familiarization with the latest technologies, creation of new technologies with old schemes and drawings. During the coronavirus epidemic, we all had to stay at home and were educated with the help of media education. This was a very big advance in this field. Even hundreds of tools were created to help facilitate the connection between students and teachers. According to my own example, I can say that thanks to media education, I have developed more in myself. We may think that there is nothing better than staying at home and doing things on the computer. It is so, but there are exceptions and disadvantages here as well. One of the most important and primary disadvantages is the disruption of well-being and loss of contact with friends. Yes, during the years of the coronavirus, I was cut off from my surroundings, I did not communicate with anyone, I isolated myself. There are many other examples: rising fraud rates, broken relationships, using unreliable resources for learning and etc.
We see how well we are progressing. Studying in one of the unique schools, which is media-educational and gives us the opportunity to learn with these hard, on the one hand, easy tools, I understood that this is progress and this will also develop in the near future. I will consider it right to apply this system in schools. This is, of course, a difficult, costly task, but if we want to fully enter into evolution, then we must suffer. It has so many advantages, but what are the disadvantages? There are also a huge number of them.
From poor health to laziness. Yes, if the educational complex gives children the opportunity to learn with media tools, to be educated with computers, to learn and master them from an early age, it is obvious that there will be children from an early age who will look at this opportunity from another side, from the side of laziness. Both in media-educational complexes of RA and in higher universities abroad, this character trait exists among students. Some come to really learn and become professionals, and some come to play, have fun, waste the school’s internet and put their parents under a senseless expense.
So, we got a great chance to develop. Since “those” years, people have thought that there will be times when there will be expensive cars, airplanes, and equipment, and those times have come. Even now we are happy with the new technologies, but we can’t even imagine what kind of condition the newest technologies will have in ten years. We are really lucky that we were educated and raised this way from childhood, but on the other hand, fortune “turned its face away from us”, because we only damaged our health by this. Both advantages and disadvantages are many, because there is no such thing that at least has more advantages than disadvantages.
